I had my own wedding on a Friday and loved it. There are lots of benefits from having a Friday wedding. Keep reading to find out what they are!

Now this a big one! Weddings are expensive, so when it comes to staying within budget, Fridays will help a lot! Friday rentals tend to be significantly cheaper than Saturdays. Even with a cheaper rental you still get all the same things a Saturday rental would get. And hey! You might be able to splurge on something you really wanted to incorporate into your wedding since you will be saving on the rental!

Vendor availability

When it comes to planning the wedding and choosing your vendors, you will find a lot more vendors will be available on Fridays. It’s never fun calling your number 1 pick and them telling you they aren’t available. The planning process becomes way easier when all your vendors are available from the get-go. Your vendors will appreciate the Friday business too!

Staycation for guests

Depending on where your guests are traveling from, they could really appreciate the Friday wedding. If they are traveling they can have a little staycation for the weekend instead of hurrying back home the next day after the wedding. They can enjoy your wedding and then enjoy the city! Maybe add a little sheet of activities to do or attractions to see near your guests’ hotel with their invitation to get them excited to spend the whole weekend!

When you get married on a Friday that means you have the rest of the weekend to continue celebrating! That means you can have more quality time with your guests like having a brunch the day after or just meeting to hang out with them at their hotel. Another great idea would be to start your honeymoon early! An extra day to celebrate getting married, yes, please!
